About Us

We are a family owned and operated, small batch, artisan smokehouse specialising in charcuterie and Low 'n Slow barbecue.

We are open for brunch and lunch Thursday to Monday 10.30am-3.00pm (last orders by 2.30pm).

Bookings are strongly recommended especially for weekends and school holidays. Walk-ins are also welcome and accommodated as quickly as possible.

We are open all of Easter and Anzac weekend. Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day & New Years Day.

Family Friendly

We are a family-friendly cafe with a children's menu, baby change table, high chairs, colouring-in, balls to play with on the lawn and affordable lawn toys such as bubble wands, foam planes, fidget packs etc available to purchase.

Pet Friendly

Your leashed fur-baby is welcome to join us for lunch in our outdoor areas. You can even include your dog in your booking! We have a dog-treat menu featuring healthy house-baked doggy donuts, parfaits, barkuterie grazing boxes, puppacinos, fresh drinking water and a stick library if you forget their toys. After lunch you can take your doggo for a relaxing walk on the vineyard.

About Us

Our food truck inspired menu showcases our low n slow smoked meats and love for bringing you generously portioned house-made meals, making as much as possible from scratch including our sauces, condiments and rubs. Dishes include meat platters, ribs, wings, burgers, toasties, nachos, hoagies, tacos and more. Check out our specials boards for daily creations as well.

All items on our menu are available for dine-in and takeaway.

Drinks

Our cafe is fully licensed and we offer a huge range of craft beers, ciders, local wines, barista made coffee, milkshakes, spirits, juices and soft drinks. No BYO.

Gelato

Treat yourself to a cup of indulgence from our gelato bar featuring decadent gelato made here in Lovedale.

Please note

As part of our food truck vibe all of our meals and drinks are available dine-in, takeaway or picnic on our vineyard and all are served in recyclable

/compostable tableware.

Split bills are welcome. A 20% surcharge applies on public holidays.

Dining Areas

Our open air, covered courtyard has excellent views of our rural property and is set amongst water features and gardens.

Our indoor dining room has rural views, views of our courtyard and water fountains, is air conditioned and features the work of local artists.

We also have an open-air shaded beer garden set amongst gum trees and fruit trees, which is available in good weather.

Guests are welcome to bring a picnic rug and enjoy their smokehouse lunch picnic style on the lawn area of the property or in our shaded beer garden, perfect if the kids are full of energy and feel like running around. No BYO food or drinks please.

High chairs are available. Our premises is wheelchair and pram accessible.

Large Groups

Groups of up to 50 guests can be booked via our reservation system at 12pm or 1pm. You can choose either a set menu (payable in advance) or guests can order and pay for their meals on the day. We recommend booking with plenty of notice so we can ensure your group can be seated together.
