Lovedale Smokehouse Cafe & Deli - Lovedale Hunter Valley

We are an owner operated, small batch, artisan smokehouse specialising in both charcuterie and Low 'n Slow barbecue. 

Established in 2006, we are proudly one of the longest running cafes in the Hunter Valley vineyards. 

Find us at 64 Majors Lane Lovedale in the Hunter Valley Vineyards. 

Mon, Thurs & Fri 11am-3pm 

(Kitchen closes at 2pm)

Sat & Sun 9.30am-3pm 

(Breakfast until 11am, lunch from 11am, kitchen closes at 2.30pm on weekends) 

Bookings are strongly recommended especially for weekends and school holidays. Walk-ins also welcome.

  Our food truck inspired menu showcases our range of house-made smoked produce, from smoked bacon on the weekend breakfast menu, to charcuterie and Low n Slow barbecue on the lunch menu with items including brisket, ribs, burgers, toasties, nachos, hoagies, tacos and more. For sweets we have a gelato bar with locally made gelato.

Drinks 

Our Lovedale Cafe is fully licensed with a huge range of craft beers, ciders, local wines, barista made coffee, milkshakes, spirits, juices and soft drinks. 

Family Friendly

We are a family-friendly cafe with a children's menu, baby change table,  colouring-in, balls and frisbees to play with on the lawn and affordable lawn toys such as bubble wands and kites available to purchase. 

Pet Friendly

Your leashed fur-baby is welcome to join us for lunch in our outdoor areas. You can even include your dog in your booking!
We have a dog-treat menu featuring healthy house-baked pupcakes and doggy donuts, puppacinos, fresh drinking water and a stick library if you forget their toys. After lunch you can take your doggo for a relaxing walk on the vineyard.  

As part of our food truck vibe all of our meals and drinks are available dine-in, takeaway or picnic on our vineyard and all are served in recyclable

 /compostable/single-use tableware.

If ordering/paying separately meals may arrive at different times. A 15% surcharge applies on public holidays. 

Our open air, covered courtyard has excellent views of our vineyard property and is flanked by water features and gardens, the perfect spot to enjoy your Hunter Valley breakfast or lunch.

 Our indoor dining room has views of our vineyard, courtyard and water fountains and is air conditioned.

 Guests are welcome to bring a picnic rug and enjoy their smokehouse lunch picnic style on the lawn area of the vineyard or in our shaded beer garden, perfect if the kids are full of energy and feel like running around. No BYO food or drinks please.

High chairs are available. Our premises is wheelchair and pram accessible.
